Lately I was doing some research into these Water Ionizers. They ionize and alkalize. I'm looking into buying one and these are the 3 ones I consider so far. Athena Water Ionizer by IonWays, Chanson Miracle by ChansonWater and Life 9000 Water Ionizer. These are counter top versions, under sink versions are available also. Apparently they are all pretty good. Whichever I will decide to buy, I will also buy Chanson C3-Filter, that Chanson makes it and works with any Ionizer machine, counter top or under sink. Each C3 canister is devoted to removing a different set of harmful chemicals, heavy metals, flouride, chlorine plus over 100 additional contaminants. Kangen Ionizers, I would not recommend for the following reasons : it uses 5 year old technology, apparently they use some dangerous chemichals to boost alkalinity and ORP, not to mention it costs twice as much as the other ionizers. Do your own research.
